Many pastors have put on hold plans to build a new church complex, or an addition to present complex or even remodel. Some of the reasons have to do with church member's ability to give, others because they cannot obtain a loan and others out of concern where the economy will be in the days ahead. All of these are legitimate deterrents to progressing with plans of new construction or expansion.
A Great Option - While pastors may have concerns about the economy or are finding it hard to locate a loan right now, why not consider raising cash for your future project through a Capital Campaign. This will enable you to make progress while you are waiting for the time you feel is right to start your project.
Why a Capital Campaign? First, you will be teaching your people that God never has a recession. He always has and will have provided His people the gifting ability to fulfil the vision of the leader for the work of the Kingdom. Second, you will be able to put cash in the bank toward the future project reducing the future loan amount needed when you proceed with the project. Contact the Stewardship Group today for us to put you in contact with one of our Strategic Partners who can visit with you about taking the next step rather put your vision totally on hold.
Church Loans - There are many banks who have loaned to the local church for years but are no longer making loans to the same congregations who have proven to be faithful in making their payments. The Stewardship Group has one strategic partner that is still making loans to churches. Please contact us about this resource.
